| Hello, my name is Eamon Kelleher and I am a Junior here at the University of Iowa studying Industrial and Systems Engineering with a focus in design and manufacturing. I’ve always been interested in design stemming mostly from my love of sneakers. I like to look at shoes and see how every feature plays a part in both form and function, and to learn the stories behind the designers. I have been really inspired by people like Tinker Hatfield, a sneaker designer at Nike, who has been responsible for many innovative footwear designs over the years. This interest in design leads me to choose my focus area to explore this further and be able to combine creativity with gaining a technical skillset. This class has been a great companion to my other engineering design classes as we have used some similar software and skills, but in ways where we can express ourselves more. This is a collection of my work from this semester, which I am proud to show. |
