This project focuses on how color theory can be used to create dynamic compositions using select color schemes. In this project we are required to do two things. One is painting the Color Wheel, with all 12 colors, a tint and a shade of each color, starting with yellow at the top of the page, like the layout on the right. Another is creating an illusion of movement within a 7”x7” square using basic geometric shapes: square, rectangle, and circles. These shapes can be modified. The composition created will be filled with the each color scheme which is Achromatic, Basic Primary Colors, Complementary Colors, Analogous Colors with a warm relationship and Analogous Colorswith a cool relationship. In this project, I started to learn the principle of color. In the first one, I want to create a faded effect with 7 different values of white and black and include white and black for a total of nine colors. For the second one, I want to create a sense of conmet encounter with the strong color contrast. In the third one, I want to make a cold color sun. The inspiration comes from the grape. I think it is cool when these two different color get mixed together. The inspiration for next one come from the national flag of my country. I used oranges and red and try to create a warm feeling.
