For the container project, I was asked to create a container using six squares, and the only way for me to connect the sides is by using the cutout, that is why it called slice form. As shown in the picture, my slice form is not working with hard material, such as wood, because I have cut out at the different end that there is always one piece cannot connect. It works on soft and flexible materials because material like paper, even though I have cut out at a different end, it still let me easily fold the square to connect. This is the first mistake I made when doing this project. The second mistake I made is I need to make more notes when grouping the container using paper because when I am grouping with wooden square, I am confused by the pictures I took. The third mistake I made is I missed one of the cut outs that the piece insert in the middle need one more cut out to attach to the other side. The last mistake I made is that I did not fulfill the requirement of it can only stand on the bottom and it falls when it stands on the other sides. My paper container did fall, but due to the hardness of the wood, it did stand on sides beside bottom. |
