| The Mobius assignment also called the one edge one surface assignment. This assignment asked students to use Mobius's characteristic that it only have one surface to create something different than the original Mobius ring. At first, when I was experimenting with the papers, instead of thinking about different foam of Mobius, I only thought about adding patterns to the Mobius, which turn out to be the wrong direction. When I realized I should change my direction, the creation of the Mobius ring inspire me to create one long piece of paper, then I twist it and connect two ends to create the Mobius. I use the swirl pattern to create one piece of paper from the square paper. The last image is the recreation of my paper Mobius using AutoCAD. That is my final Mobius. |
