Announcements:5-8: Reminder: The final for this class is Monday, May 12, from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in our usual classroom, CPHB N110.
5-8: Ryan's review session for the final will be Friday, May 9 from 1:00-2:00 in CPH 106.
4-29: Ryan's review session for Quiz 4 will be Wednesday, April 30 from 4:30-5:30 in CPH N120 (next door to our usual classroom, same place as last time).
4-8: Ryan's review session for Quiz 3 will be Wednesday, April 9 from 4:30-5:30 in CPH N120 (next door to our usual classroom, same place as last time).
4-8: As I mentioned in class, there was a typo on slide 24 of the 4-8 notes: third bullet should be (-2.66, -0.47), not (-14.2, 1.6)
3-4: Ryan will hold a review session for Quiz 2 Wednesday, March 5 from 4:30-5:30 in CPH N120 (next door to our usual classroom).
2-10: The University has now scheduled our final: it will take place Monday, May 12, from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. It is likely that the place will be our usual classroom (CPHB N110), but I do not have official confirmation on that yet; I'll let you know if this is not the case. UPDATE: It has now been officially confirmed that the final will be in CPHB N110.
1-9: Welcome to the website for Introduction to Biostatistics. On the menu above are links to the syllabus, lecture notes, assignments, and labs. There are also a number of data sets available in a tab-delimited format. We will discuss these data in class and on homework assignments as the semester goes on. There are also some tables, which we will start to use later in the course. Finally, under "study materials", there will be practice tests and quizzes.
