Joshua Laird is joining the lab in August, 2021, to do a PhD. Joshua did an MS with Christina Belanger at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, the main result of which he published in senior authorship in Paleobiology in 2019. He plans to work on various aspects of quantitative trilobite paleoecology and diversity.

Rebecca DeKoster successfully defended her MS thesis, "Revision of the trilobites of the Silurian Henryhouse Formation of Oklahoma," and will graduate this summer. She is moving on to a PhD at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
