My name is Allison Barnett. I live in Dubuque, Iowa, and am currently going to the University of Iowa. I am a double major with psychology and art, and am also interested in music.
The reason why I took Design Fundamentals was to further develop my understanding of the world of art. I wanted to fully comprehend all of the essentials needed in this field, and to additionally mature as an artist.
I am interested in all aspects of Studio Art, but am the most fascinated by ceramics. In the coming years at UI I hope to study subjects ranging from the pottery wheel, hand-built and coil-build ceramics, and even glazing. I’m excited to learn all types of new things here at the University of Iowa. Go Hawks! |
