Tuesday MESA Tutoring Program
Broadway and Pheasant Ridge Neighborhood Centers offer transportation and assistance tutoring to neighborhood youth in 6th through 12th grades every Tuesday. This program is a free tutoring and ACT preparation hosted by the Iowa City Community School District, the University of Iowa Opportunity of Iowa Office, and MESA (Multi-Ethnic Engineering Association). Youth bring homework or a book to read each week and can receive help on a variety of subjects. In addition computers are available to the students. At the end of the night pizza is distributed to the students.
