Purpose
Kicking for Kids is intended, first and foremost, to be a fundraiser for children’s programs at Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County. This Tournament is not intended to be a highly competitive event! The focus will be on raising money for worthwhile programs and having fun playing soccer.
Registration
Please complete the Team Registration Form on the back of this brochure. Teams may have as many players as they like, keeping in mind that more players may mean less time on the field. Teams must register as a unit with a minimum of 4-5 players. Each player will have a registration fee of $20 to be paid on the day of the Tournament when you check in. The registration fee will be waived for each player that turns in $50 or more in pledges.
Each team must designate an adult "Team Contact" (preferably a player's parent). Schedules for tournament day will be provided to the Team Contact. Once your team has been registered, an information packet will be sent to each team member. The packet will include a Team Sponsor pledge form, Tournament rules, waiver form and any other information to help make the event run smoothly.
Pledges & Prizes
Once the Team Registration has been approved, each team member will be sent a Team Sponsor Sheet. Every team member that raises $75 or more in pledges will receive a prize. The player that raises the most in pledges will receive our grand prize. A special prize will also be awarded to the team that raises the most in pledges.
