Shinkai 6500 Diving, May 2004

In May 2004, I was one of a group of scientists from the USA and Japan ( including: J-I Kimura, R.J. Stern, S. Bloomer, Y. Ohara, T. Ishii, O. Ishizuka, S. Haraguchi, S. Machida, K. Kelley, U. Hargrove III., M. Wortel, Y. Li) that used the Shinkai 6500 to dive on the Ogasawara escarpment near the fore-arc islands of Chichijima and Hahajima. For the results, see Ishizuka et al. (2006).
