“Green Button” stool joined digital technology, inspiration and bio-foam, which makes surfboards stronger, lighter and 34% more sustainable. When blown to the maximum size, bio-foam blocks become massive. This feature inspired the development of a comfy and visually pleasing stool that can be easily manufactured. Indeed, visual connections with the stony Étretat beach in Normandy was the main drive for the project. With milling technology the initial form is carved and then used as mold for bio-foam blowing. The surface is finished with fiberglass and aqua-resin. Colors “modulate” lightness or heaviness. “Green Button” is a lighter and colorful edition of real rocks.
