Lenson Learned | The JUST-IN-TIME Game is a simulation enabling participants with no prior management knowledge to discover the fundamental principles of production: e.g. inventory and lead time, work order selection, and distinctions between different scheduling modes (extensive flows, lead flows). The game also helps them understand the need to resolve various problems before implementing a Just-In-Time system: reducing tool change over times, lowering the frequency of breakdowns, eliminating supplier delays, etc. |
