Unflatware Silverware Set

16 ga polished aluminum
1” (W) x 10” (L) x 1.5” (H) each piece

The unflatware set is designed from a unbroken sheet of metal that is folded and formed to create the different elements. The elements have the fold in three different spots so that they can nest into each other and be easily packed in a smaller volume. The working prototype was made out of polished aluminum but the final pieces can also be fabricated in polished steel or silver and can also have colors, allowing great flexibility for its design.
Its simple shape enables the sheets to be laser cut and then formed using industrial dyes which make the set easy to be mass-produced.
