The design of this store aimed to bring a little bit of randomness to the display of its elements without keeping it disorganized. The idea is to have as many different kind of shelving units as possible in each section to organize every item for sale in its best fashion. In order to achieve that, the design evokes works of art of the DeStijl movement from Schroeder, Mondrian and Van Doesburg, with their grid abstract compositions in space or on canvas. So the parts of the shelving units are put together creating objects of art in themselves, waiting to attract the viewer. The color palette chose also recalls this cultural movement and utilizes the primary color with black, white and gray. A hardwood floor unifies the whole setting and reminds us of old art studios.
