This is a series that aims to portray the process of making a photographic image. It is well known how light sources hit films or are captured by digital sensors and those record that image.
My goal for this series was to be able to use the camera as a drawing tool. Having city lights as my medium, I was able to “draw” a photographic image, bringing to it another layer than just the recording of a moment in time. The action and process of drawing was used but instead of a paper surface and a pencil, I had a digital camera and the space surrounding myself.
