Computer-Aided Design
This is a proposed redesign of the Metropolitan Home Magazine. The name Metropolitan was translated into a concept by brainstorming situations and scenes metropolitan cities have. The main idea was the windows of the buildings in the skyline and traffic. So, a small square was used as a module and composed to resemble skyline scenes and abstracted urban scenarios.
The color palette utilizes violet, green, orange and white for contrast and hierarchy of elements. The logo of the magazine was also redesigned, making it more contemporary looking by replacing the serif typefaces by a sans serif, bold type.
