Digital Sprawl Project Building

This is a building designed to be a center for cultural activities located at a low-income community in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A low square-foot was a requirement for this project and for that matter the building takes on a simple, cubic shape, in a dialogue with the surrounding boxy houses around it. Inside this big box, an auditorium with cutting-edge projection and acoustics systems is used for film screenings, play readings, and other cultural events that will help introduce the inhabitants of the neighborhood to other cultural manifestations.
