About me

A graduate of the University of Iowa, I have worked at the University in one capacity or another for over 20 years.  I currently work for Information Technology Services in the Campus Services division developing software to implement and manage various services that we offer to students.  Much of my work is web-based and implemented  using Visual Studio and the .NET framework.  I've become a proponent of Agile Methods in software engineering and am a member of the Agile Alliance .

There's no sense in being precise when you don't even know what you're talking about.

John von Neumann

...agile is basically three things: a set of engineering best practices that allow for rapid delivery of high-quality software, a project management process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation, and a leadership philosophy that encourages team work and accountability. — Agile Chronicles
