New Italy School District

District Counseling and Guidance Department* Homepage

Welcome to the New Italy School District Counseling and Guidance Homepage!  Counselors in the New Italy School District deliver a Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Program to all students K-12. The New Italy School District is located within the historic and scenic City of New Italy, population 10,340. The school community is made up of families from many different towns and the surrounding countryside, covering 140 square miles. There are approximately 1,800 students in the New Italy district with three K-5 elementary schools, a 6-8 grade middle school, and a 9-12 grade high school. The elementary and middle school facilities adjoin each other and are situated on 37 beautifully wooded acres. The high school is located approximately 3 miles away and close to downtown New Italy.

All of the schools have school counselors who are delivering a Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Program to students. The elementary school has one counselor, the middle school two counselors and the high school has two counselors. School counselors have developed their Comprehensive Developmental Guidance program over the last 15 years by participating in the American School Counseling Association and by working together in the district to write and implement our district’s version of the program. This program is described on this website and you are welcome to download the information and use it in your school district.
