Hello, my name is Nick Votava.  I am 20 years young and hail from the great city of Rockford, Illinois.  I am currently pursuing my interest in the visual arts at the University of Iowa.  I am unsure of the specific type of art I want to develop, but through my schooling thus far I have been able to narrow my search.  Art fields that interest me include various forms or design, drawing, and painting.  I believe time and commitment are key components to attaining any goal.  This is especially crucial in a skill-like field such as the visual arts.   Interests outside of art include, my two cats, sports, music, and relaxing with friends and family.
