Bath Products
I have a love for bath products. It seems sill because most things, like bath bombs are used in the tub when you are soaking and relaxing and I am away at college and for the past three years I have either lived in the dorms or had a tiny shower in my apartment or house. But when I go home for breaks and for the summer, I take full advantage of my bath products.
My friends and I make a point to get together before someone's birthday and get a basket of bath and relaxing products in it for them. We will include a gift certificate from all of us to get a massage and then a ton of other stuff, like bath bombs, bath salts, shower gels, a loofah, a stone for your feet and so many other things. It is crazy to think that we are at the age that we are giving each other relaxing gifts, but between work and school and stuff at home and extracurricular activities and clubs and sororities (oh yeah, and trying to get our lives planned out) we need to time sit back and relax.
They honestly do make the best gifts though. We usually get a colored or flavored theme going. Like we did pink for one of my good friends. We found this huge white basket with pink ribbon going all around the handle. Then we filled it with pink and white and gold tissue paper and put the gift certificate for the massage (wrapped in a pink ribbon) in it along with all of the other cute matching stuff we found. We got pink and gold candles that said love and friends on them and then a pink loofah and these pink and white bath bombs and soaps. There is this really cute new bath boutique that opened up by our house that will make the soaps to match or you can pick out the scents and colors. It really is cool.
But then we wrap it all up and make it look cute and pretty and give it to her on her birthday. It really is such a great gift and one that is both fun to get and give because it lasts for a long time and is full of things you normally wouldn't buy for yourself without feeling guilty. And also when we get it for someone we all get to get together and go shopping and get lunch and spend much needed time together.
