Jahan Hari Hamilton

I am Jahan Hamilton and I am an art student at the University of Iowa concentrating on Graphic Design. I am also studying to recieve two minors in Art Histor and Music. I was born in India and raised in Iowa. I try to use my Indian heritage in some of my works. After enrolling at the University I found many more influences in the art world such as Art Deco, Postmodernism, Haute Couture and Haute Cuisine. I also become fond of photography and started to use that along with graphic designing. While my palatte can be colorful and active at times I try to put a slightly more serious and darker tone to many of my works. My inspirations come from all over the place and not just a single person or style of art. I've found that I prefer to diversify rather than specify, in art, music, cusine and fashion. I'm continuing to find new inspirations and personal tastes.
