Well we were suppose to be in Columbus, Ohio yesterday around 5pm for Men's Big Ten Swimming Championship. In the end the snow came down and it was decided we would leave today. Some of the teams in the Big Ten tried to leave, some were unable to leave due to bus company decisions, some got lost. Half of our group finally made it in around 11pm with only about an hour of delays. The second half of our group is scheduled to end up in the hotel at 4am tomorrow. I don't to even mention it, but that's pretty brutal on the body especially when so much time has been spent on their taper. I'm not sure how much it is going to change a person's time, and I don't there would ever be conclusive evidence, but I imagine everyone will roll with it. It would have been awesome to just end up chartering a flight and make it in an hour and a half from Cedar Rapids, but that just wasn't possible. They have also delayed the meet for a day due to the snow, but that mean's I will miss some of Monday as well. The first group is to leave Monday from the hotel at 4:30am.
