I stayed in Iowa City this weekend to cover a few sports. My 3rd year student instead had to travel with the swim team to Michigan State. Besides being an 8 hr trip, one of the buses had a flat; meaning the buses had to combine. They also are staying an hour away from the pool where they are swimming. On top of that they had to practice in the outdoor pool. That would have been great if it was in Florida or Arizona, but it was Michigan in late October with temps in the 40's. I may have gotten the long straw this weekend.
