So I came home today and Shellie said it was time to go out to eat. We really haven't been out to eat in a while. In general, it's pretty difficult to agree on a place to eat. But today Shellie said she wanted to pick. Of course I obliged. I should also note we don't usually go to chain restaurants. We aren't snobs or restauranteurs, quite the oppositve, But we know what we like. We usually just go to local places, one of a kind places, we even eat bar food. but in general we stay away from chain restaurants like Chili's or TGIF's. Tonight of course we went to Applebee's. The service was horrible, there was no host/ess, the bartender sat us, we sat at our table for 10 minutes waiting for someone to even take our drink order (the place was less than half full), Shellie was served the wrong food (well half the wrong food she ordered a Oriental Chicken wrap and recieved a Buffalo Chicken wrap with the soy sauce dip (don't ever try the combo it was horrible)). We didn't even send the food back, my food was cold (I got the nachos), how do you even serve cold nachos. Sometime's I wonder how hard it can be to warm this stuff up, mix it all together, and send it out. It must be a lot more difficult than I think. It still was a great night together, but I can guarantee I won't be back. I think I may be avoiding chain restaurants a little more vigilantly.
