Global Concerns

From Mission Network: A former inmate & his wife, members of Drew & Mary Ellen Robinson’s congregation in Mongolia have begun helping in prison ministry.  Pray that through the Robinsons & this couple, whose lives have been so dramatically transformed, many more prisoners may experience freedom in Jesus.

We would like to thank the women of the church for the wonderful shower on Monday evening.  All of the gifts will be very useful and are very much appreciated.  Thanks also to the Dunamis class for planning the shower.

We are looking forward to another successful year at the Pleasantview Benefit Sale!  We are asking again for your help in donating cookies for the “Cookie Walk”.  We have received so many positive comments on the varieties of cookies donated and are excited to see what this year brings.  The “Cookie Walk” will take place at the Kalona Sale Barn on Sat., Oct. 24, from 9 am to 11 am.  We ask that you bring your cookies to Sunnyside Church the evening before between 4 and 9 p.m. as there is little space at the Sale Barn to store the many dozens that will be donated.
