From Mission Network:: In Francistown, Botswana, Melanie Quinn works with young actors & musicians who stage productions dealing with alcoholism, HIV/AIDS and domestic violence. Grant money for the presentations & for performers’ stipends has been wrongfully withheld since February. Pray that God would provide needed funds.

during the school year, let Joyce know by Sept. 27. Cost is $22.00 per
subscription.
East Union Townhall Meeting—Wed., September 23, at 7pm in
Fellowship Hall: If you haven't attended the past 3 meetings, we invite
you to join us! We are working on agenda and would welcome your ideas.

to interact with each other on items of interest to you, so submit your ideas!
Items currently under consideration for this meeting are: Report on our Marriage
Care program just underway; a report on the revised Membership Guidelines since
last meeting; and discussion of Wheelchair seating areas in the Sanctuary.

Join us for a “Sing & S’mores” at Crooked Creek Christian Camp. Starting at 6:00 p.m., we will have an outdoor sing-a-long featuring hymns and favorite camp songs. Stick around for a s’mores smorgasbord and stories around the campfire with Mark and Sarah Schoenhals.

The Parkview Manor Chaplaincy Program Fundraiser will be from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church. $6.00 Adults, $3.50 for Children under 12. There will be a Silent Auction that will close at 6:00 pm and a Cash and Carry Table. This year we will feature a special quilt made for our Chaplaincy Fundraiser Auction. The quilt will sell at 6:00PM.
Saturday, September 19
Everyone is invited to the 6th Annual Art and Flower Festival benefiting Habitat for Humanity from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. As always, there will be herbs and flowers for you to pick, local art to buy, homemade ice cream, wood-fired oven pizza and fun for the whole family! The event will be held at Anna’s Cutting Garden, 1259 Rohret Rd., SW, Oxford. Questions? Call 828-4257. All proceeds will benefit Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity.
