generous volunteers…the Turkey Steak Supper at IMS is on Saturday, March 15.
If you'd like to share your talents, East Union has been asked to provide 15
pies and 4 volunteers to work from 5:30-7:15. Please let Kristen
Rempel know if you'd like to help out. Thanks.
- Hey Kids! If you
collected your coins for canoes and kayaks at Crooked Creek Christian Camp
with the devotional calendar in January, send your donation to the camp by
the end of February. So far we can pay for 2.5 canoes with a goal of
9. Thanks for your help!

advocate but would like to volunteer to take a turn in the nursery during
the worship service let Joyce know so she can get you on the next schedule.

for a seat or table at the West Union MYF dinner theater—The Not Quite So
Late Show—March 29 at 6:30. Call Donna Yoder at 656-2160, or email

- Eastern Iowa Mennonite
Women’s Spring Retreat is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 8:30 AM – 12 PM.
The theme this year is “Reaching Out to Friends around the World”. Speakers
are Holly Blosser Yoder, Sherry Schrock and Anita Swartzendruber. More
details will be coming later.

Christian Camp invites you to join us, from 3-5 for a Lenten Prayer
Walk. The afternoon is yours to follow where the spirit leads. There
will be many different Meditation Stations, including the Prayer
Labyrinth and other Lenten prayer resources. All are welcome to
attend for as long or as little as desired. Please meet at the
Retreat Lodge for more directions.

- Mennonite Women will
meet at the church. Devotional leader: Charlene Rhodes; project is
sewing kits; potluck meal at noon.
- Wednesday, March 5
- MYF will meet at
Collin’s house for a bible study at 7:00 p.m.
- Choir will practice
at 7:15 p.m. at the church.
- Friday, March 7
- World Day of Prayer
to be held at Pleasantview Home. Fellowship is in Friendship
Center at 9:15. Service in the chapel at 9:45. Rolland
Smith is the speaker.

- Promise Keepers at
East Union – 7:00 a.m.
- Next Sunday, March 9
- MYF will go to Jay’s house
after church for “Dinner and a Movie”.
- The Wellman Mennonite MYF is
hosting their annual Mush Fry from 11:30 to 1:00. Everyone is invited to
this old fashioned meal of fried mush, tomato
gravy, liverwurst, whole hog sausage and scrambled
eggs. Proceeds go toward the MYF youth convention expenses and mission
projects.
