GRADING CRITERIA FOR THE PRESENTATION 1. Rubric: Name _______________________ a. Presentation ___/ 15 Pronunciation ___/6 b. Poster ___/10 Illustration ___/4 c. Notes: ________________________________________________________________ 2. Detailing the grading criteria Pronunciation: you pronounce all sounds. You needn’t sound like
a native speaker, but everyone should be able to understand what you
are saying. For example, be careful about these consonants: g, c, q,
j (see the handout I gave you some time ago) Fluency: you speak at a natural rhythm. So practice aloud several times. Grammar (bonus point): I will grade your grammar but only as extra bonus. Be careful about subject-verb agreement; and article-noun-adjective agreement Illustration: the illustration you use must be clear, clean and illustrative of what you’re talking about. Be sensitive; don’t use anything offensive or unsettling. Text: the text is the words you use in your poster. They must be clear, easy to understand (so proof-read your Spanish here), and EASY to read, so use good letter size. I will sit at the back of the classroom and should be able to read everything. Overall presentation: this is an evaluation of how the text, the illustration, and your speech interact. So, the pictures, the text in the poster and what you say should be connected. Adjustment to the time given is also considered. |
