The MyWeb server is enabled with FrontPage Server Extensions.  These extensions support hit counters, data collection (forms), database processing, and other FrontPage features that non-extended servers don't. They also support advanced file upload software and the ability to open and save web files using Internet protocols such as HTTP.

How to establish your site as a Network Place and publish in FrontPage 2003

- note that this procedure is not available with Microsoft Vista. If using Vista the only publishing option when using FrontPage is SFTP-

1. In FrontPage, select File > Open Site from the menu.  This will bring up the Open Site window shown below:

3.  This opens the Add Network Place wizard (shown below).  Click Next >.

4.  In the following window select "Choose another network location" and then click Next >

 

5. Now you specify the Internet address of your MyWeb site. 

 

6. Now you specify a name for the Network Place

 

7. On the next window click Finish
